Ordered from Amintiri for a friend’s HBD. the cake- Opera, melted in our mouths. Loved the packaging and the flavour. Definitely a go to cake place for all events going forward
I ordered a cake around 10 days before I needed it so that they have ample enough of time to plan out how they will deliver the cake. I did not order a customised cake. It was a standard cake they make. The cake was good. Definitely a pricey place and I would no say it’s 100% worth the money but it is a good cake.
My issue is with their professional conduct and service. I had clearly mentioned that I need the cake at 12:30 pm and I had also told them that many events depend on the cake being delivered at that time.
In spite of telling them that, they chose to send the cake at 11:10 am. I did not get a notification that I had subscribed to, about the delivery. They just sent a Dunzo guy and what do I do? There is no one at the location almost 1 and half hour before schedule delivery time. I called the lady and said how can you send it at 11 no one is there to pick it up.
She had the audacity to say we cannot promise delivery time. Plus or minus will happen. I was not aware that this incompetent operations manager’s standard plus or minus timing is 1 and half hour plus or minus.
So according to this very dysfunctional operations manager, if you order a cake and schedule it at 4pm, you can get it anytime between 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
My question is why ask us for a timing if you are incapable of sticking to it?
Your cake was good and that’s thanks to your baker. But your incompetence, carelessness and ridiculous attitude has made me and 6 of my friends decide to never order from ever again since it is a hassle of its own.
I would recommend letting go of your baker since he/she or the team has a lot of talent but the operations and logistics team will definitely screw it all up.
I’m sorry for being blunt but the lady on the phone had no regard or any sense of professionalism while speaking with me. She had an attitude of her own.
That lady needs a serious revaluation.
As long as we prepay for the cakes and you Dunzo it, you dont care right?
