Tried Chicken briyani, Chicken 65 briyani, Mutton briyani, Tandoori and Chicken 65. All tastes good, No health issues. The only minus is there is no parking facility. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Biriyani, Special Chicken Biryani, Mutton Briyani, Chicken Briyani, Chicken 65, Tandoori Chicken

Today (23-06-2025), I visited this restaurant and ordered a Chicken 65 Biryani, while my friend ordered an Egg Biryani. The Chicken Biryani was priced at around ₹300, and the Egg Biryani was around ₹200. In total, we spent over ₹500, which felt like a complete waste. I strongly advise to not visit this restaurant. They says that they have been around since 1890, but I can confidently say that any roadside biryani shop in Chennai would serve better food. This place is focused on making money rather than satisfying customers. The quality of the biryani was extremely poor—so bad that even a veg biryani would taste better. In reality, what they served was just oily rice. If you want to experience the effect of cholesterol , this is the place for you. In that aspect, they won’t disappoint. This was my first time trying Ambur-style biryani, but this restaurant has ruined it for me. I don’t think I’ll ever try Ambur biryani again. Please avoid this restaurant at any situation. I’m not sure about their other branches, but i strongly says that even in dying situations, don’t choose this place. This is my honest advice and reflects the pain of my experience. I ordered mutton biryani and chicken 65 (order id: 6995420503) on 22/06/2025 evening 6.50pm . Received spoiled biryani and chicken 65 also not good. I didn't pay Rs.550 for spoiled food. Raised complaint night itself. They said , will refund the payment. Still didn't get any notification regarding refund. Nowadays becoming one the worst hotel. Surely going to take legal actions on them. Food: 1

"Dear Customer, sincere apologies for the unpleasant experience. We never use spoilt/rotten meat for briyani preparation and the prepared briyani also consumed within 2-3 hours of preparation. We always use fresh meat and ensure edible pieces are served. When unopened box/bucket kept for long time, food might get moist because of which meat might loose it freshness. If the food is kept in refrigerator when it is hot, food might get foul smell. However,we Will look into your feedback.Hoping to serve you again."""" "" "
