We went as a 7 member group and tried several dishes, Biriyani is their main dish here we ordered 1 prawn biriyani, 2 mutton and 1 chicken biriyani which all others also tried few liked and felt it is subtle but few didn't as we like more flavourful spicy and masala taste. Also tried tandoori paratha, garlic naan, kulcha with paneer butter masala, chicken Chettinad every dish was good also tried Schezwan noodles, chicken fried rice quantity was good and taste also. For sides ordered omlette, egg podimas, white pepper chicken, pichu potta grill chicken those were okayish. Pricing is ok to high for few items overall it may be good for few and not for few. Ambience nothing special. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Worst Biryani Experience Ever at Ambur Star Biryani, Madurai Had one of the worst experiences at Ambur Star Biryani, Madurai. The chicken biryani was a complete disappointment — totally lacking in flavor and taste. The rice was overcooked and sticky, almost like eating Pongal instead of biryani. It wasn’t even salty enough, making it taste bland and lifeless. The chicken pieces were dry, had no proper seasoning, and the whole dish lacked the aroma and spice that define a good biryani. Honestly, it felt more like tomato rice mixed with mushy rice. For the price they charge, it’s absolutely not worth it. Completely dissatisfied and would never recommend this place to anyone expecting authentic Ambur biryani. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
