If you can't provide a good service to your customers who have come to enjoy the food, ambience and the scenic beauty the place promises, there's no point in visiting the Ambrai Restaurant apart from just clicking some pictures. Thanks to the rude, unapologetic staff members on the team with no sense of how to treat a customer or handle an already placed order. Surprisingly, we met a sculpture artist in the market today and we happen to talk about dining in at Ambrai later in the evening. Even he was of the view that however good Ambrai was earlier, they currently mistreat people, incl. the owner and his son who don't have any sense of respect. This attitude in a Service Industry is frightening as Ambrai being one of the popular places in Udaipur hosts a lot of Foreigners/visitors, and this atitude of staff could seriously damage the rich Rajasthani and Udaipur culture. I would strongly recommend people to not go to Ambrai Restaurant for Dine-In purposes. They took our order but 1 hr. later told us that the item was sold off and not available jokingly and laughingly. The staff member was like when I went to look for the item, we were sold out. So I can't provide you with the dish ordered 1 hr. back when it was pretty much available. Whereas once the order placed, it falls under the Restaurant's responsibility to fulfil their promise to deliver and serve or inform us instantly to change our order. On the face they told us sorry, but they laughed from behind and were unapologetic in their behaviour and body language. This happened twice. The person taking our order was rude on several occasions too forcing us to place a full order at once, not properly attending us and not allowing us to have some time and go through the menu properly. On an avg., a worst experience given the hype. Strongly not recommended. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹2,000+ Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Vegetarian options: After looking at the attitude of the serving staff, I'm not sure if they would try and care properly to keep veg. and non-veg. seaparate. Incl. plating and care in cooking.

The so called hyped up place "QUALA" Failed to stand up to it's hype. despite having a reservation which was made two days prior by paying charges, the staff denied the seats and asked to wait for good 20 min. If you guys plan on disrespecting people's time and patience please do not take reservation to begin with. So far the worst hospitality in Udaipur
