Review: 1/5 I had a very disappointing experience at Amber Dhaba, Gaur City 2. The food quality is extremely poor, and the portion sizes are very small compared to the high prices they charge. The taste is below average, and the ingredients don’t seem fresh. The service was also slow, and the overall hygiene was not up to the mark. Definitely not worth the money! Had dinner recently at this vegetarian restaurant and overall, it was a good experience with a few mixed moments. We tried their Chinese sizzler, which was the star of the evening — flavorful, well-balanced, and served hot with a nice presentation. We also ordered Mushroom Do Pyaza and Malai Kofta — both were decent, though nothing particularly standout. The Lime Soda was refreshing and well made, but the Blue Curacao drink was way too sweet for my taste. One downside was the 10% service charge added to the total bill — it felt unnecessary and wasn’t mentioned upfront, which was a bit off-putting. Overall, the food quality is solid, especially if you’re looking for vegetarian options, but a heads-up on the billing practices would make for a more transparent experience. I had given up hopes of having good Mutton Keema in delhi, and then I found 'Ambersari Dhaba', tucked on the curve under Defence Colony flyover, the place had my heart. It serves good Mutton Curry and Keema Kaleji, however, misses the mark just by a few points from likes of Ashok Meat. Great stop for mutton lovers.
