Amaya is a rooftop fine dining spot in Port Blair that offers a delectable seafood cuisine. The establishment boasts a stunning view of the city and the sea, which adds to the ambiance of the place. The interior design is elegant and modern, with comfortable seating arrangements that allow patrons to enjoy their meals in style. The price range is on the higher side, with dishes costing around Rs. 1200 per person without drinks. However, the quality of food and service more than justifies the cost.
One of the special features of Amaya is the live music that creates a relaxing atmosphere for diners. The place also has a bar that serves a range of cocktails, soft drinks, and wines. Some of the must-try dishes include the Seafood Platter, Andaman Fish Curry, Tandoori Platter, Chicken Sizzler, Corn Methi Tikka, and Veg Sizzler. For drinks, the Lasoni Tiger Shrimp, Whiskey Sour, and a range of mocktails are highly recommended.
Located inside the Seashell hotel, Amaya is one of the best rooftop restaurants in Port Blair. The staff is friendly and courteous, with Saurabh and Saurav receiving special mentions for their excellent service. The establishment also offers outdoor seating, which provides a unique dining experience under the stars. Overall, Amaya is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a quality meal with loved ones.

Best in the city

Restaurant inside the seashell hotel chain where they have a branch in Havelock island. It's on a hill. The service is slow but they do try. Tried the Amaya seafood platter but it is more like mediocre Chinese cooking. Surprised that seafood is not really good in the island. There's also a steep service charge. Price is on a high side.
