Bitter Experience: We had reserved a table for 18 people, but only 16 of us were able to attend for lunch. However, we were billed for 18 persons. When I reached out for clarification the next day, I was told that since the booking was made through the Swiggy app, the bill could not be adjusted. I was also informed that I should have checked the bill at the time of payment.

This was unexpected, as I never thought we would be charged for guests who did not dine with us. While the food was good, the overall experience was disappointing from a service standpoint.

Went to Trident for lunch with family and hungry kids, only to be told at 2:45 pm that lunch would close in 15 minutes. No buffet, no à la carte, and surprisingly none of the hotel’s restaurants serve lunch past 3 pm. Basically, we were asked to finish in 15 minutes or leave. Ended up at Mainland China nearby and had a wonderful lunch instead. Disappointing and unwelcoming experience for a 5-star hotel — not returning here for lunch.
