If you appear to be near Majnu ka Tilla, you can go to this restaurant. Chinese and Tibetan cuisines are recommended to taste at Dolma Restaurant. The truth is that you will really enjoy nicely cooked chilli chicken, momos and vegetable broth. Nothing can be better than tasting good pancakes. Get your meal started with delicious beer. You will appreciate great cold coffee, bubble tea or ice tea at this place.

This spot is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. A lot of reviewers note that the dishes are offered for adequate prices. There is a pretty ambiance and cute decor at this restaurant. Dolma Restaurant scored 4.3 in the Google rating system.

ORDERS:
1) Chicken soupy momos = (rs 190) = 5/5⭐
2) Chicken thukpa = (rs 150) = 4/5⭐
3) 3x Tingmo = (rs 20 each) = 3/5⭐
4) Apple beer = 3/5⭐

POSITIVES:~
1) The portion amount & taste is quite satisfying in this price.
2) In just Rs 440/-, these dishes made for a nice brunch for 3 people
3) Their chilli oil is amazing

NEGATIVES:~
1) Hygiene could be improved --> we found a hair in one of the sauces on our table & had to borrow from the next table
2) The tables are placed quite close to each other & the restaurant was running on full capacity which made us feel a bit uncomfortable.

NOTES:~
1) The current menu is quite different from the one displayed in Zomato as of this moment
2) The Tingmo itself is a basic steamed bun with no stuffing, so order some kind of soup or use chilli oil to accompany it.

TLDR:~
This is a very pocket-friendly food joint for students & young professionals. The portion size & taste is satisfactory within this price range. Hygiene could be improved, but I would definitely recommend this place. 3.8/5⭐ overall

Taste – 4/5
Portions – 5/5
Ambience – 3/5
Service – 5/5
Value for money – 5/5

One of the oldest restaurant in Majnu ka tila, this place has been serving authentic tibetan food since 1984.

The seatings and décor are kept simple and minimal with the entire effort being put into serving the most authentic Tibetan food over the years.

The service is good and the price portion ratio is commendable.

I tried:

1. Veg thukpa – 5/5
Thukpa is a noodles soup loaded with vegetables. This dish has preserved the traditional thukpa taste and aroma. The steaming hot soup just added so much flavour to the noodles. Truly one of the best thukpas that I have ever had.

2. Chicken shapta  with tingmo bread – 4/5
The chicken shapta was delicious with succulent chicken pieces and delicious gravy. I had it with tingmo which is the steamed bun. The combination was a complete meal and I enjoyed every bite of it.

3. Apple beer – 3/5
This non alcoholic apple drink tasted like any other store bought apple drink. It did taste good with the food taste was nothing different.

You can count on this place for an authentic tibetan dine in experience without pinching your pocket.

Located inside the little Tibet of Delhi is Dolma restaurant. We went there to try momos sinceit was told to be the speciality but were a little disappointed with the taste of the. Bland and not as we expected them to be.
Although the shahi momos served by them are quite delicious and a must must try, good balance of flavours and spice is how it is meant to be.
Do try their chilli potato and thupka as we loved them as well. Good staff but a Lil slow on service, but worth a try or two to give them a chance!
