The place has reopened now.
It is a quiet place with comfortable ambience & no fancy stuff. Just a quiet place to unwind with your glass in hand.
Food is good (no extra spice etc), service is good, & liquor is reasonably priced.
Definitely worth a visit either alone or in company.

The place has re-opened recently & is now a quiet comfortable place with good atmosphere & good service.
Food is also quite good & the liquor is not overpriced.
Worth a regular visit for value for money.

Alpine Bar Cum Restaurant is located at Maniram Dewan Road, Chandmari, Guwahati, Kamrup(M), Assam - 781003.. It is adjacent to Aaroti Marriage Hall nd opp to SBI, Chandmari Branch..This Bar is one among the oldest in Guwahati, established around 2005-2006.. It is at the 1st floor, nd have to go up by a small staircase.. The Bar is not that big, but is capable of handling a running customer instead of seating customer.. It was Good during the starting time , but now gradually it is loosing customers, as now a days Show-off is more necessary than real pleasure, and people refuse to come to an ordinary bar.. Moreover, it is a good bar with few food items to be have/taken as Chaknna with a peg or beer.. We enjoyed a lot here, during our time..RB......
