While driving from Coimbatore to Chennai, I stopped for lunch at Alfouz Restaurant, and it was a great experience overall. Positives: • They have a good car parking space, which is convenient for travelers. • The ambience is pleasant and family-friendly, making it a comfortable stop for dining. • The service was good, with attentive staff ensuring a smooth experience. I tried their mutton biryani made with seeraga samba rice, priced at ₹290. The biryani was absolutely delicious—one of the best I’ve had! The flavors were rich, the quantity was sufficient, and it had a good amount of tender mutton pieces. However, the mutton could have been cooked a bit more for perfection. Pricing: The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity provided, making it a good value-for-money option. If you’re looking for a non-veg family restaurant on this route, I’d definitely recommend giving Alfouz a try! Went to their restaurant with family and the service was really nice. The food was exceptionally tasty and at a reasonable price. Ambience was calm and had a good diner experience. As I was traveling from far the restaurant was a good break and the restroom was neat and clean unlike other reknown restaurants who don’t maintain their restrooms. Everything here was absolutely excellent we traveled from Bangalore to Chinna Salem and was really wanting to enjoy some delicious food and this restaurant was perfect we loved the Mutton Mandi, chicken 65 and everything we had highly recommended Ambience was very pleasant and welcoming Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,400–1,600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Briyani
