I recently visited Thalassery Family Restaurant on the Aluva-Munnar road, and it's indeed a great option for families, as the name suggests. Whether you're on your way to Munnar or heading back home, they offer a variety of dishes. During my visit, I tried their shwai and shawarma. The food was good, but I did notice some inconsistency in taste. On the positive side, they have ample parking space and convenient amenities nearby, including a petrol pump and ATM. Overall, it's a decent stop for a family meal while traveling.
