We were on a trip to Bengaluru from Chennai & I had an urgent need to attend to a meeting from my laptop. Was scouting for places & the driver suggested this restaurant. Looked nice and slightly off the highway which worked out for me in the end as the noise levels were much lower inside. Wife & kid ordered food for dinner at the same time I was attending the call. The service was very quick & courteous. The food was really tasty & my meeting went well without any issues. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I recently visited Alankar Veg Restaurant, and while the food was truly impressive, the overall experience was affected by the service. There’s a clear contrast between the quality of the kitchen and the efficiency of the staff, and it’s worth sharing honestly. Food – Absolutely Amazing The highlight of the visit was definitely the food. Every dish we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and prepared with great attention to taste. The spices were balanced perfectly, the portions were generous, and the quality was consistently high. You can tell that the kitchen staff really know what they’re doing — the dishes had that authentic, comforting veg-restaurant flavour that keeps people coming back. From the starters to the mains, everything tasted wonderful, and the food alone would make anyone want to return. Service – Needs Serious Improvement While the food was excellent, the service captain unfortunately brought down the overall experience. • He repeatedly brought wrong orders to our table. • There seemed to be confusion with even the simplest instructions. • Instead of apologizing or correcting it quickly, the attitude felt careless and inattentive. It’s disappointing when such good food is overshadowed by service that feels unprofessional and disorganized. With a restaurant that clearly has strong potential, better staff training and attention to detail would make a huge difference. Overall Experience Alankar Veg Restaurant has amazing food — truly delicious and worth visiting for the flavours alone. However, the service definitely needs improvement, especially from the captain who manages orders. With better coordination and customer handling, this restaurant could easily deliver an excellent all-round dining experience.
