Chinese and Indian cuisines are to the pleasure of all guests here. You will enjoy its food, particularly perfectly cooked fried crabs, fish fried rice and prawn masala. The success of this restaurant wouldn't be possible without the gracious staff. Enjoyable service is something visitors like here. The calm atmosphere will be exactly just what you need after a long working week. But Alai Osai The Family Restaurant has been rated below average by Google.

(4/5) Visited Alai Osai Restaurant on Kalaignar Karunanidhi Salai and had a good experience. The ambience is peaceful, and the staff is welcoming. Ordered the Chettinad Combo (₹420), which included: • Fish kulambu (plenty of it) • Crab masala (best item) • Prawn masala (second best) • Masala omelette, papad, rasam • Nethili fry (not so good) • Curd (good quantity) • Mini 7UP soft drink Also tried Egg Biryani (good) and took a Chicken Biryani parcel (good as well). A little on the pricier side, but worth a try. No major disappointments! Overall, a decent place for Chettinad-style seafood lovers.
