We recently attempted to purchase 300g of Karupatti Laddoo at aladipattiyan rajakilpakkam branch, but were informed by Nisha Madam that only fixed quantities—either 250g or 500g—were available. She explained that 6 pieces constituted 250g and that the stock only comes in multiples of 6. However, this does not seem consistent with actual practice. The sweets were packed only after we placed the order, and we observed there were 10 pieces remaining in the tray, indicating that the inventory is not strictly managed in fixed multiples as suggested. It appears that the staff are generally reluctant to calculate prices for custom weights such as 300g or 400g, instead encouraging purchases in preset quantities like 250g or 500g. This approach is inconvenient for customers who wish to purchase specific amounts based on their needs. In many larger and more customer-friendly establishments, it's common to allow purchases in increments as low as 100g. We believe a more flexible and customer-centric approach—allowing purchases based on actual weight requirements—would enhance the shopping experience and improve customer satisfaction.
