Tried their Ponnara fish and prawns. Taste was good, But ₹1100 for the Ponnara fish felt quite expensive. Since the restaurant is located near Vizhinjam Harbour, where seafood is easily available, the pricing felt a bit high. Also, drinking water wasn’t provided with the meal. Good food, but value for money could be better. Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Marvelous... I'm simply awestruck by the food and the service as well... I would highly recommend people to visit Al-Ustad hotel if they are trying to visit it for the first time as this the famous and first ever hotel to serve such delicious sea food in Trivandrum. A small suggestion to people from the north if they are visiting it for the first time like me... Order Parotha with the food instead of appam. You would like it much better and would be easy to get on with for the first time.. Meanwhile you'll get used to appam and enjoy it much more as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
