Disappointed in my experience with this place, this is the second time I'm ordering from here, first time I had Fungi Pizza but it had the same problem of the whole pizza being wet. The taste is nothing special, the outer crust is too big and bready. This doesn't feel like Gourmet pizza to me, using fancy names for ingredients doesn't automatically make this gourmet, the pizza has to be well put together, the ingredients have to complement each other well, and nothing should be overpowering in taste.

I've had Gourmet Pizza from a place called Tossin, sadly they have no branches nearby my abode. Akasha Pizza Heaven doesn't compare to the former. I've given this place a second chance, and don't find it up to my standards, and such will not be ordering from here anymore.

PS- Before anyone can comment, I'm not COVID positive and my taste buds are not compromised, people just have differing tastes and preferences.

HI, The pizza what we are doing are Neapolitan style. The cheese we use is real Mozzarella (fior di latte ). This kind of cheese is very moist and fresh. The pizza is baked in a way that it stays fresh not making the cheese golden or burned or dehydrating the dough and the ingredients. The cheese is just baked enough that it melts. As a result you can taste the flavours of real cheese, dough, olive oil and other ingredients. This is not a bar pizza which is too dry and dehydrated . It may have felt a bit more moist because you had asked for extra cheese. The outer edge of the pizza may seem doughy but its not its very airy and light. This edge is also called as cornicione in Italy. P.S This pizza is not for everybody. Its for people who appreciate Naples style pizza from Italy. Neapolitan style of pizza is also recognized by UNESCO.
