Disappointing Service and Unjustified Service ChargeI recently visited this restaurant and bar, and I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. Despite being legally entitled to not pay a service charge under Indian law, the restaurant insisted on charging us 10% of the total bill, citing their "rules" as the reason. This was despite our subpar experience.We waited nearly 45 minutes to receive just two food items, which was unreasonably long. When we questioned the service charge, pointing out that it's voluntary by law, the staff were dismissive and refused to remove it. Instead, they doubled down, stating that it was included as per their "policy."This approach felt highly unethical, especially since the service was far from satisfactory. If a restaurant is going to charge a service fee, it should reflect the quality of the service, which in this case, was absolutely lacking.To top it off, the staff was unhelpful and indifferent to our concerns, leaving us with a sense of frustration. If the restaurant is going to charge for service, they need to ensure that their service standards meet the expectations that come with that charge.I would not recommend this place if you're looking for a hassle-free dining experience. There are plenty of other places in the area where you’ll receive better service and a more transparent approach to billing.
