A visit to Aeka’s Coffee had been on our wishlist since we first met Sunanda and Amit two years ago, and we were finally able to experience the warm, inviting space they’ve curated for Pune’s coffee lovers. The cafe, run by this lovely couple, is more than just a spot for a caffeine hit—it’s a thriving community hub, complete with a welcoming co-working space that encourages creativity and connection. We started with the Korean bun, which was pillowy, delightfully savoury, and perfectly balanced with a touch of herby richness. The avocado croissant was another highlight: the croissant itself was incredibly flaky, buttery, and generously filled with a creamy avocado mix, delivering both taste and texture in every bite. Coffee at Aeka’s truly stands out. The Vietnamese coffee was rich and bold, offering deep, satisfying notes that paired beautifully with the food. I also enjoyed a cappuccino adorned with poured latte art, smooth and aromatic—a testament to the barista’s craft and their dedication to quality. What sets Aeka’s Coffee apart is its unique bungalow setting—a refreshing escape from the typical, cramped commercial cafes. The atmosphere here is incredibly spacious, airy, and welcoming, letting you unwind and truly savour each bite and sip. There are no overpowering coffee aromas crowding the space, just the gentle hum of conversations. It’s the kind of hidden gem that makes you want to linger a little longer, whether you’re catching up over coffee or settling in to work.
