Adarsh Hotel has always been my top choice in Calicut, and as a traveler, it’s the very first place I think of whenever I want to enjoy a good lunch or breakfast. The dishes I’ve tried here for breakfast, especially the Squid Curry, Chinna Mutta, and Kallumakaya, have been nothing short of exceptional – full of authentic flavors and absolutely delicious. Squid curry with appam will remain as my favourite for breakfast and meals with fish egg is a must try for lunch. We visited this spot for breakfast, and while the food was decent, the ambiance left much to be desired - it's small and not particularly clean, so I'd advise against taking the family there. That said, the breakfast spread was tasty! The Appam could've been hotter, but we enjoyed the Kalumakai, liver, mutton stew, parota, and puttu. Puttu and stew were standouts. Most dishes had a nice pepper kick. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
