On 29th September 2025 (Saptami – Durga Puja), I booked a table for 7 guests for lunch at your restaurant (Avani Mall) for the unlimited buffet. Since it was Durga Puja, the price was ₹891 per person — higher than regular days — so naturally, I expected better food and service. But instead, what we got was absolutely disappointing — stale and foul-smelling fish kebab, barely 2 or 3 tiny pieces of chicken on the grills (so small that even mixed rice at other restaurants offers bigger pieces!), and repeated refusals or long waiting whenever we asked for mutton. After begging nearly 10–12 times, when golden prawns were finally served, they were completely uncooked, leaving us with a vomit-like feeling. The so-called “unlimited buffet” felt like a test of patience and tolerance! All of us lost our appetite midway and ended up eating only ice cream and cakes to finish the meal. For a total bill of ₹6,240, this was nothing short of a humiliation, especially in front of my guests on a festive occasion. It’s not about the compensation or refund as the humiliation and prestige issue i had faced in front of my guests cannot be compensated with any refund — it’s about respect, honesty, and food quality. Please take this seriously, because this experience has completely shattered the image of AB’s for us. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: ₹800–1,000
