Mughlai cuisine is provided at this restaurant. Food delivery is an important benefit of Abidi's Virsa-e-Deccan. That's a good idea to order nicely cooked haleem, chicken biryani and chicken roti. The high ratings of this place would be impossible without the patient staff. Good service is something guests appreciate here. Most of the time, this spot provides you with the cool atmosphere. The overall score of this restaurant on Google is 4.2.

The lift entrance and condition alone should have made us turn back but unfortunately we went to the restaurant and placed our order. The fish starter recommended to us was full of bones. What kind of decent restaurant serves fish with bones?? The Shaadi Wala Red Chicken was not at all like the Hyderabadi dish. It was some weird lackluster gravy. The Seena Gosht tasted fine but quantity was abysmal, barely any mutton on the bones. Pathar ka Gosht didn't have the distinct taste a Hyderabadi would expect. The Lesuni Prawns were rather ordinary, not good-not bad. The Garlic Naan lacked in adequate garlic flavour. The Apricot Pudding was average. The Zafrani Kheer was surprisingly good, we asked for another bowl of it and immediately were given a different in taste and texture Kheer bowl. It was shocking to see how within 10 minutes they couldn't maintain the consistency of the one good item they seemed to have. The staff was good, served us well. The Ambiance is cute. But overall a horrible food experience. Not worth it at all. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹2,000+

~~Abidi's Virsa-e-Deccan, Rd No. 2 Banjara Hills~~ Last Saturday (2nd August, 2025), we, 4 friends, went to Abidi's Virsa-e-Deccan for dinner. We reached around 10 PM, and were seated promptly. The decor gives a royal feel and feels comfortable. Comfort seemed to be the top most priority as tables had enough spaces between them (so you can chat freely), chairs and sofas were very comfortable, and they had a small yet lovely waiting lounge (which is a great place for photos/ selfies). We ordered the following (each one portion/ serving)-- 1. Mutton Marag: It was extremely good. The thickness was proper, the taste was bang on, and had some chunky mutton pieces. Simply superb. 2. Patthar ka Gosth: It tasted really good. The mutton pieces were properly cooked also. However, I personally felt it was a bit drier than usual (probably I am just nitpicking here). 3. Murg Malai Tikka: Again, an excellent dish. Kababs were soft, melt-in-mouth and rightly spiced (neither too sweet nor too spicy); and thank God that like most places, here it is not covered with a thick layer of cream-on-top!!! 4. Mutton Zaffrani Biryani (full): Hands-down one of the best biryanis in this part of the town, and comparable to the legends such as Cafe Bahar or Shadaab or Bawarchi. Rightly spiced, no extra dose of red chilli powder-- the way authentic Hyderabadi zaffrani biryani should be. (I personally conveyed my feedback and heartfelt thanks to the manager for such lovely biryani). 5. Zaffrani Kheer: It was good. Could have been a bit thicker, and better. Overall, it was a really nice meal. Service was very prompt, courteous. The manager and a gentleman (probably the owner) asked us multiple times whether everything was ok or not. And we chatted for long, and yet they never hurried the meal. Big thanks for that. The bill for all above (along with 3 cold drinks and couple of water bottles) came as 2600+. The only slight disappointment was, they didn’t accept the Zomato discoint. They explained us how Zomato runs those offer without even consulting them!! Overall, a great place and I am looking forward to a second visit. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹600–800 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
