I recently visited Abhinay Restaurant on Darjeeling-Binaguri Road, and while the food quality is commendable, the overall experience left much to be desired. Here's a breakdown of my experience: **Food:** The highlight of the visit was definitely the food. The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing a good variety of options. However, the high prices make it hard to justify the cost, even for such delicious meals. **Ambience:** The ambience is quite average and tends to be crowded, which diminishes the dining experience. It's not the place for a quiet, relaxing meal due to the constant hustle and bustle. **Service:** Unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. It was very slow, and getting someone's attention to place an order was a challenge. The staff seemed inattentive, which significantly impacted the overall dining experience. In summary, while the food at Abhinay Restaurant is good, the high prices, average ambience, and poor service make it difficult to fully enjoy the visit. There's a lot of potential here, but it needs significant improvements in service and overall management to truly stand out. I had lunch here on 22nd March 2023 while going for my Sikkim Trip.
Positives -
1. Copper plates.
2. Free onions, chillies in quantity. Its not very common, and worth mentioning.
3. Affordable food. Pocket Friendly.
4. Quick service.
5. Welcoming staff.
6. Crowded. But moving crowd. The staff was kind, peaceful, helpful and we faced zero issues.
7. Plenty of parking space.
8. They maintain cleanliness in and around the restaurant.
8. Regular drivers on the route, get too heavy discount here. We offered Rs.200 to driver for lunch,, but he politely refused. The hotel gives heavily subsidised food to all drivers there.

I gave a single star because there wasn't any option of zero star. Overpriced food, served stale....... Hooligan owner and his coterie rough up customers if anyone complains about stale food that Is served. Be careful. The drivers of the vehicles are hand in gloves with the owner, since they get free food from the owners probably.
