I feel very happy to write a review for this restaurant which has been our go to destination during my engineering college days since it was closer by. We have had best of the times at this bar n restaurant. Probably would always remember this place for the first beer I chugged here. Sadly though that I don't have many pictures of the food available here, but I can honestly say that I have tasted almost all the dishes available here.
Coming to the food it is the best place around the kagalipura and somanahalli stretch prices are reasonable and taste is simply awesome. Paneer Manchurian was excellent it was lipsmacking I also recommend the chicken dishes. I am not a fan of the fried rice or the chicken biryani but the rest of the foods are too good.
It has ample parking space and you can definitely take a truck load of men and have a wonderful time here since you get a separate seatings in the form of huts.
They only need to improve with the cleanliness of the toilet, because a woman especially can have a nightmare incase she visits the toilet.
Visited this place on Monday , this dabha is pretty far .....it's located near APS college off kanakapura road after Sri ravishankar ashrama.
The place is quite big ...they have got about 8 huts .coming to food we ordered -
1.capsicum bhaji - it was really tasty as they had made it fresh , it was very hot when it was served . I really loved the taste ....it wasn't oily ..it had just the right amount of spice and salt .
2.lemon baby corn Manchurian - it is based on lemon chicken and it sorta tasted similar to that ......the dish is yellow in colour and is very tangy . I wish he had added a little more spice to my taste
3.mushroom Manchurian - it's a semi gravy dish . The mushroom really tasted good ....they were cooked appropriately and the sauce was really good with spice and a tinge of tangy Sorta of like gobi Manchurian soaked in sauce .
4.roti - the roti was adequate in size and soft . I was just disappointed with the amount of soot on it ,black soot isn't exactly appealing .
5.egg masala - the curry is dabha styled ......its really spicy curry with boiled eggs in it , I really love it for the spiciness . U can taste the green chilli paste and the masala in the curry ! .
6.curd rice - it was a little towards dry side but its ok at Least it tasted fresh and it wasn't sour . I just wish it had a little more restaurant feel to it with a little dry fruits maybe .....
Overall the food was pretty good ....I would love to visit them again . Ambience is good ....there are some huts which have single table and some huts are divided in 4 tables with walls and curtains dividing . The place is usually crowded on weekend and holidays . Service is pretty slow and u have to keep calling the guy to order . Prices are pretty nominal dabha prices .
If the distance and ambience is ok with u do visit the place once .......it's a good destination to stop for lunch during long drives !
