A local attraction - Ram Rai Darbar, that is situated beside Aangan Cafe & Restaurant, is a part of the unique culture of the city. Chinese cuisine is recommended to try at this place.

And now about the food ,we ordered chicken keema parantha and chicken biryani to which chicken keema parantha was really good and was heavy too but the very same can't be said about chicken biryani as it was really poor in taste.
So on a concluding note it's a really good price worthy place as long as one doesn't order CHICKEN BIRYANI.
1. Location
Rajpur Road - on the main road, a little further ahead from Pacific Mall.
They have some dedicated parking space (with entrances on two sides), with a lot more available on the road.
2. Seating and Ambiance
The restaurant is decked with wooden furniture to compliment it's wooden floor - and the tables are reasonably spaced apart.
The chairs, however, don't have any cushions.
Two highlights of the interiors are the ceiling which appears thatched (with bamboo lattice) and a tree that is growing through it !
This tree, despite its aesthetic appeal, causes a strange disadvantage - water seeps in along the trunk when it's raining and spreads all over the premises.
The area has sufficient natural light, but gets a bit gloomy in the evening owing to the dim electrical fittings.
The ambiance could have done with some light music to enhance the experience (they had no music for most of my meal, and put on some Punjabi party tracks when I asked for it).
Also, their washroom was a nightmare! I've deducted 0.5 rating for this. It was clean, yes. But the odour was torture!
3. Service
The staff is polite and helpful, though somewhat untrained.
The service is quick.
4. Food
My order : Chicken Hakka Noodles
Amount : ₹ 158/-
The most striking thing about the noodles was that the amount of chicken pieces was very generous - I didn't eat a single bite that wasn't full of meat !
The chicken had a peppery flavour and was slightly tough.
The noodles were pretty good and the dish, overall, was above average.
Conclusion :
Aangan Cafe and Restaurant, with a few improvements, could become a regular stop for its customers. For now, it's an "okay" option if it's en route to/from your destination.
Pro-tip : Try their combos for a quick (and economical) meal.
