WORST RESTAURANT. INSULT TO BENGALI FOOD. Today I visited the Aami Bangali Restaurant Ranchi after reading several positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. We ordered simple dishes like steamed rice, dal, alu posto, and patal alu sabzi. First, the quantity of the food was very disappointing. The rice, which was charged as a full portion, was less than half. The moong dal came in a small katori and was pathetically sweet. The alu posto was very greasy with raw mustard oil, and there was no taste of posto at all. The alu patal was also overly sweet. The service was incredibly slow, and despite there being no other customers except us, the staff seemed more interested in watching TV at a loud volume than attending to us. The owner was rude, and overall, the ambiance was quite unwelcoming. For all this, we were charged 598/-, which I find exorbitant given the quality and quantity of the food and the poor service. I don't know about other branches, but the Ranchi branch is just pathetic. NEVER GO THERE OR ELSE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.
