Tasty food with a fun twist, great ambience, decent service — just avoid the buttermilk! Bahubali Dosa is a must-try. Expect a rush during lunch hours and slight delays in service, but overall, a satisfying experience. Detailed Review: We recently visited Andhra Canteen and had a flavorful experience trying out a range of South Indian dishes. One of the clear highlights was the Bahubali Dosa — a massive dosa nearly 3 feet long, easily the largest we’ve ever been served! It was a fun challenge to eat (we couldn’t finish it completely ), but every bite was worth it. Other items we tried included Mysore Dosa, Butter Masala Dosa, and Ghee Roast Masala Dosa..... each prepared well, served hot, and bursting with authentic South Indian flavors. We also had Lassi, Lime Soda (mix), and Buttermilk. While everything except the buttermilk was refreshing and enjoyable, the buttermilk was extremely disappointing.....watery, bland, and without any flavor. Frankly, it’s best avoided. The ambience was clean, comfortable, and inviting, making it a nice place to dine in. However, there was a significant lunch-hour crowd, which led to some delay in service. Thankfully, the wait staff was courteous and handled the rush fairly well, which we appreciated. In conclusion, Andhra Canteen is worth visiting for its unique dishes and overall vibe. Just steer clear of the buttermilk, and try to avoid peak lunch hours if you're short on time. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tried this place for the first time.1) People in large groups who came later were ushered in first. Hence, a large group is given preference. Group of two or three has to wait. 2) Curd vada was actually curd mixed with besan and not exactly dahi vada. 3) Sambhar was so chilly. Difficult to gulp down 4) Mysore dosa was slightly sour as compared to actual taste which we get in Mysore. There are better south Indian restaurants in Delhi. Would be happy to avoid.
