Things have detoriated greatly last few years. The food is probably a bit better than nearby joints, thats the only positive point. Else you have to wait a lot(30mins min), see all swiggy orders swoosh away and then get your turn. Paranthas dont get butter as much you expect. Also the ambience needs a bit brushup as all roadside dust falls on your plate if not careful. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

The food at Amritsari is good and captures authentic North Indian, Delhi-style flavours. The dishes were tasty and well prepared, which is the main reason for giving it two stars. However, the hygiene standards are disappointing. There were flies around the dining area, and the kitchen did not appear clean. The upper-level seating lacks proper ventilation, resulting in excessive smoke and an uncomfortable dining experience. More importantly, the absence of adequate ventilation could raise serious safety concerns in the event of a fire. Amritsari has the potential to be a great restaurant because the food is good, but significant improvements in cleanliness, ventilation, and overall hygiene are urgently needed.
