I recently visited Acre Bengaluru Bar & Kitchen, located near Airport Road, and I really wanted to share my full experience because this place has so much potential and genuinely impressed me in certain ways, even though it left me a bit disappointed in others. To start with, the ambience and the property itself are absolutely beautiful. The moment you enter, you can feel that the place has been designed with a lot of thought. It has a modern-yet-comfortable vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxed hangout, a nice dinner, or even a casual evening at the bar. The seating, the lighting, and the overall layout give it a premium feel. Honestly, in terms of the setting alone, Acre looks like a place I would love to visit more often. The food was quite good, too. The dishes were flavourful, well-prepared, and nicely presented. You can tell that the kitchen team knows what they’re doing. The menu had a good variety, and everything we ordered was up to the mark. The bar menu was also impressive—lots of options, and the drinks were well made. It really feels like the place is built to offer an enjoyable dining and bar experience. However, what really took away from the experience was the service. This is where I honestly felt disappointed. The service was slow, and at times it felt like the staff was not fully attentive. We had to wait quite a while for our orders, and even simple requests took longer than expected. For such a nice property with great food and a beautiful setting, the service needs to match the standard. It wasn’t that the staff was rude—just that things felt unorganized and not properly maintained. Plates were left on the table longer, follow-ups took time, and overall the coordination seemed off. I genuinely believe that with better maintenance and more efficient service, Acre could easily become one of the top recommended places in this area. The foundation is already strong: good food, lovely property, great ambience, and a solid bar setup. If they work on the service quality and ensure the place is maintained properly, this spot can be absolutely fantastic. To sum it up: • Ambience: Excellent • Food: Very good • Bar & Drinks: Impressive • Service: Slow and needs improvement • Maintenance: Should be better managed Overall, Acre Bengaluru Bar & Kitchen is a great place with huge potential, and I’d love to return once they polish up the service and upkeep.
