'Abaotime' opened its first outlet in Kavuri hills that serves delectable baos with an indie twist. Bao is a century old chinese street food that has now made it' s way to Hyderabadi roads. Custom-made for today’s grab-and-go world, they strike the perfect balance of healthy & delicious food. The baos served here are a complete meal in itself, steamed and filled with the choicest ingredients, they are a delight to the hungry soul. We were invited for a food tasting session and the review for the place is as follows: The 'Smoked Lamb' had smoked pulled lamb tossed in a homemade teriyaki sauce, with hints of sweetness from the honey mustard mayo and sharpness from pickled green apple.The 'Mutton Keema' had authentic flavours of the Indian highway food right inside your bao. The 'Crispy Chicken Bao' had crispy fried chicken in spicy hoisin sauce which tasted delicious.The 'Butter Chicken Bao' was my favourite with creamy makhni sauce and tender juicy chicken wrapped in a warm bao. The sweet Chilly Bao and Mushroom Bao had interesting flavours but were not appealing to my taste buds. They also had a series of interesting desserts made out of bao. The 'Banana Nutella' and 'Peanut Butter & Jam' were signatures and trust me they were sinfully divine to say the least. Recommendations: Smoked Lamb, Mutton Keema, Crispy Chicken, Butter Chicken, Banana Nutella, PB&J. Ambiance: 4/5 Food:5/5 Service: 5/5 Price: 5/5 Overall: 5/5.
