Very nice quite place. Tasty snacks and food are available which I regularly have. My favourite over here is the Paniyaram and the chutney. The staff are very dedicated and serves nicely. It is a self service place which I like
Though I haven't been to this place, I got to taste some of their banana chips through my colleagues who brought it to office. Since then, I've bought almost every variety they have, through my colleague who visits his home town regularly.
What's special is that their banana chips come in so many sizes and flavours, some of those being quite creative. Sample these: Pepper, Chilly, Lemon, Pudhina, Curry, Lemon-Ginger, Malabar Masala. My favourite flavours are Tandoori (spicy-tangy-chilly, and SO good), Mexican Masala (mild but multiple impactful flavours), Garlic Masala (mild garlic goodness), and Navarathna (sweetish with spots of spice). I like to take a little of each on a plate and alternate between varieties; my taste buds LOVE that game!
I've also tried the potato chip variants for some of these flavours, but they're not a patch on the banana chip ones because the novelty is lost on the potato chips (we're so used to the Lays and Bingo-s coming in unique flavours). These banana and potato chips cost ₹35-40 per 100 gms depending on the flavour.
Tapioca Pakkoda (100 gms, ₹28) is supposedly another speciality - it is not really 'pakkoda' but more like ribbon murukku/pakkoda - thin flat crunchy strips of fried tapioca. Interesting snack if you're tired of the same old ones. Ragi Thatta Murukku (250 gms, ₹65) is one of the tastiest ways you can eat ragi, no compromise on taste on the pretext of health - I really liked it too.
If I ever go to Coimbatore, I know where my first stop will be!
