This review is not about the service—the food and staff were excellent, very kind, and helpful. Unfortunately, the experience was negatively affected by a group of customers who were creating a public nuisance. They were name-calling and making loud, inappropriate remarks toward women passing by, which was extremely rude and uncomfortable. What was particularly surprising was that the women accompanying them seemed to encourage this behavior by laughing along. There appeared to be a sense of entitlement, as if being from another country justified such conduct. We often hear complaints about civic sense in India, but incidents like this show that basic public decency is required everywhere. The group also appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, which was concerning given that this occurred in a public place in Gujarat, a dry state.
