If you're a coffee lover, this is a great place to visit. They offer a variety of coffee options along with a good selection of breakfast items and bakery treats. You'll also find some main course or light meal options like sandwiches, bagels, wraps, pizzas, etc. The food was average, and the ambience and service were equally satisfying. A cozy friendly and full of warmth, cafe chain in kolkata. Be it in south kolkata, central kolkata or in salt lake each of the three branches are beautifully set up with minimalistic decor and ambient music. 8th day stands out not inly for the decor or music or the respect for working professionals working remotely but mainly for their coffee. Now it might be sounding funny, me saying this because normally a cafe will sell coffee. But it matters to an avid coffee lover what he is drinking in the name of coffee. Speciality coffee at an affordable price, 8thaday can very well claim to be one of the pioneers of kolkata when it comes to this. Do check out the cold brews, pour overs and don't only stick to a cappuccino if you want to know what's really brewing in this awesome cafe. Last but not least will be their food. Now although I personally believe their menu needs to give a little bit more options and maybe get some of the items out, the existing items are finger licking good. Start performers for me will be Grant's Sandwich and southern avenue Sandwich, closely followed by the Quiche and periperi chicken breast. The summer mango menu is also awesome. Work/chat/or just for a soul searching session, one of my top most favourite spot is 8thday for sure. Do give it a try. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

8th Day Cafe & Bakery is a great place to eat in Kolkata. It is perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Great place for a quick coffee or a catch up with friends over decent food. The staff are really helpful and attentive. Dessert selection is super nice and goes really well with a strong cup of coffee. Must visit for all coffee lovers.
