Planning your trip, pay attention to Shaukat Mahal and remember to choose where to eat: this restaurant is right aside the mentioned attraction. The unique characteristic of 8 Plates Cafe & Restaurant is serving good chicken, fish and biryani. You will hardly forget great coffee that you can degust.
Food delivery is an important benefit of this place. Cool service is something visitors like here. It's a good place with the pretty ambiance. But google users haven't given this spot a high rating.

In the evening of ‘Holi’, we had asked for one full-plate of ‘Chicken gharwala’ (Rs.380/-); the dish was delivered in two mid-sized plastic containers with good eight pieces of chicken in a humongous quantity of gravy. The preparation tasted nice with little toned-down spices especially chillies thus making it a close cousin of the home cooked stuff. The next time we had ordered two portions of chicken tikka (Rs.190/- each), a portion of paneer tikka (Rs.190/-) along with a half-plate of chicken gharwala (Rs.200/-). The chicken tikkas were a little too spiced up in terms of red chillies and my friend, not so initiated to hot cuisines, had failed to appreciate the dish.
As I don’t live in Bhopal, I’ll have to wait for my next trip to try some of their other offerings like ‘maachcher jhol’ and ‘kasha maangsho’.
