I recently visited Kiona Cafe for dinner on a Saturday, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. When I received the bill, I noticed a 10% service charge added, which I felt was not deserved given the poor service I had received. I politely requested that the service charge be removed, explaining that I did not feel it was warranted based on the service quality. However, the staff insisted that the service charge was compulsory and that I had no choice but to pay it. I understand that service charges can sometimes be added, but according to regulations, it should be at the customer’s discretion, and it was disheartening to be forced into paying for something I did not agree with. An upscale place which is worth the price it charges. The food is really good, so is the ambience. Loved the vibe and crowd of the place. Had a significant amount of appetizers, and none disappointed. The pizza was good and on-par with other good thin crust pizzas. Tried their 'Spiced Berries' mocktail, which is a personal recommendation. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Initially my rating for this restaurant was 5 star because of their services, because of their food, because of their behaviour towards Customer. But I am being forced to change my review. I am from Kolkata and whenever I visited Delhi, kolkata was my must visit place. This was my last time in Delhi as we are shifting from Delhi. But the behaviour we get during my last time visit is awful. We booked slot from zomato dine-in beforehand and the booking was confirmed and we paid for the booking. But when we reached Kiona, we denied entry saying they were having private party and no table is available. We told them that we already booked for the dinner and paid for it. They just said "refund toh mil hi jayega". But when we talked to zomato customer service, they replied we are denied entry because we were wearing "shorts" and "slippers" when in reality we were not wearing these. Zomato also told Some guy named Anthony informed this. Is this the way you behave to your customer? Obviously, you can be occupied with your private party. But what is the reason for lying to zomato customer care? And even if you refund the money, what about the efforts we put in for coming to your doorstep? This is very disgusting and unprofessional. One thing I am very sure, whenever I visit Delhi, not going to visit you and I would NOT recommend this restaurant to any of my acquaintance in Delhi. This behaviour is not justified at all
