After you have seen Gurdwara Sri Hemkund Sahib, visit this restaurant. 5 states Restaurant By Madras Hotel is famous for serving Indian and Vegetarian cuisines. Ordering good sambar, idli and paneer is a nice experience here. It's time to try tasty ice cream.

Wonderful restaurant. We went into the restaurant after an utterly exhausting day of April and were greeted so warmly. Food was top notch with lovely pahadi thali although they had lots of other choices. We would come again if we come to Rishikesh. I have visited this restaurant last year with family my experience was good so this year I visited rishikesh with my friends I suggested that they should definitely go there but my decision of going there again was wrong we waited almost 1 hour for a cup of tea and then they serve the tea with food. They charged 60 rs for a water bottle. Food was average but I think they should work on their service when I visited last year their one of employee(I don't remember his name)was very polite towards customer but he was not there this year so my last year experience was good only because of that employee not because of the restaurant. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
