Visited the 1980's military hotel for lunch after hearing and seeing a lot of favorable reviews, so it might just be that we had high expectations and the place failed to meet those.We ordered spicy chicken appetizer which was more like a Chinese dish which threw us off, the mutton chops were good but felt a tad over gingerish. The nalli biryani was served with rice hot and tge nalli's were cold - had to ask the waitstaff twice to heat it.We also ordered a non veg thali which was brought out first inspite of asking the appetizers to be served first. We also ordered the 1980's special chitti mutyala mutton pulao which was just bland without any discerning flavours. They had some flavored soda's we ordered which were okayish.Overall an underwhelming experience other than the mutton chops everything else was pretty much below average and the service was also below average.
