If you happen to be near Catholic Art Museum, you can go to this bar. 1788 is well known for serving Mediterranean cuisine. Come here for good prawns, salads and ginger salads if you are hungry. It's a must to order delicious beer while visiting this place.
Musicians play live music in the evening. The energetic staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Service at this spot is something one can name prompt. The ambiance of this place is charming.

Located on the main streets of Fort Kochi, they have good food, and enjoyable live music.It makes for a nice place for a relaxing evening.

Had dinner here during our stay in fort Cochin, to be honest we loved the ambiance and the service 1788 offers but the food was just disappointing. The whole fusion of east meets west simply wasn't working. We had some really mediocre dishes over here!!
