Food is not Upto the mark comparing to the price they are changing. They are charging 900 rs for a veg thali containing 5-7 items limited roti and rice. Restaurant ambience is great and service is good. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section

Visited 1559 AD near Fateh Sagar Lake recently, and the overall experience was quite good. The ambience is charming and peaceful — perfect for a relaxed meal in Udaipur. The taste of the food was amazing, especially the traditional flavors which were well-prepared and satisfying. It was nice to see that the service has improved, but there’s still some room for better guest hospitality. The food service started early, which we appreciated, but it was left idle midway — this felt a bit out of place and not in line with the warm guest culture one expects here. That said, the setting, food quality, and overall vibe made it a pleasant experience. Would definitely consider visiting again, hoping for more attentive service next time.
