After a walk around Vikasa Soudha, many visitors stop by this restaurant. 1498 AD is recommended to Chinese and Indian cuisine lovers. This place offers you good salads, soup and paneer.
As a number of visitors state, the service is terrific.
Atria's 1498 restaurant didn't match up to my expectations but its better than normal restaurant you see outside, been here with my parents and my sister for dinner buffet. You have a very limited dishes to choose in here not much , but the food is quite good even if it is limited , the ambiances is quite not many people come here , but you do have live music . overall it's better than the normal restaurant you find in every corner .
A lunch buffet that has something for everyone.
Great variety of starters, and amazing desserts. The main course though doesn't match up to the expectations set after you've had the starters, delicious nonetheless.
A big thumbs up for its value for money.
we choose this place for our team lunch , a lot of hype around the famous ATRIA did not live upto our expectations.
Ambiance is good , u will see a couple of aquariums placed near the reception , 1498 AD with Vasco da gama`s caricature on the name board . seats are typical to any buffet restaurant. environment was on the average side .
Food needs a big improvement in terms of quality and variety. one veg and non veg soup , Broccoli cream soup tasted OK . there were only 2 starters which was a big setback in a buffet lunch . 3-4 varities of sabji , paneer sabji was the worst i had ever tasted . Roti was more like a papad (roasted). Dal palak tasted good , Rice , rasam and curd rice were decent. they had a good variety of deserts and a couple of fruits.
Service was very slow, we had to ask them to fill the containers of the buffet spread which was disappointing.
Overall the food is ordinary and there is nothing much that brings you back to this place on priority.
