I would like to give a review as recently we had a small wedding event in cottage 1 and once the event ended the good experience turned into very bad and worse experience as later when we went to clear the payment they started adding the amount for which the place was getting decorated, which was not earlier communicated. We were told and mentioned while booking by Jhanvi that if function is extending beyond given time then only the per hour 3k charges would be charged. We were fine by this agreeement. Later they added the amounts for decorations time which was done by decorator for adding and removing the things. The decorator has also worked their earlier, he also confirmed never such amount has been charged by them. So they started this new way of charging people at the end of the event. If you have some clauses why this was not told before booking the event and waited till the end of the event. Though the food and hospitality was good during the event didnt expected at all later we are going to have such a bad experience. Very bad and disappointing experience only because of the owners and his wife behaviour. This is not the way to take the money from customers, everything should be informed prior instead of coming later at the end of the event. Not even a day before. Though noone bad mouthed anyone except you during payment time. I do have the proofs what agreement was made on WhatsApp with Jhanvi, ready to share if you feel there are any misunderstandings in the arrangement from our end. I think it was totally misunderstood from your end since jhanvi dealt the whole deal and later she didnt even clear the issue. Anyways all in all noone charge when the place is getting decorated for the event, i have no issue in paying for extending my event and also paid for it but for decoration time also you people will charge is highly not right and should have told when we paid the amount in advance while booking.

Dear Madam,May we thank you for the time taken to review us, it was heartening to know that you & your guests were happy with the food & services provided, in-spite of the increase in scheduled guests from your end from 35 to 55 persons, we know our capabilities & handled the same to your satisfaction.You must acknowledge & understand that an event booked for banquets entitles the place to be reserved for the event for a specific period of time & cannot be for eternity, we at 10th Mile Banquet Venue's provide for a 4 hour time frame plus extra charges towards any time decorators use at the premises, you misunderstood the arrangement. We on good faith did not charge the amount in advance when you came to the venue for the event since you were already running late for the event. Premises used for decorations are at the guests prerogative & costs & not the banqueting properties.Bad mouthing a facility after the event is over & the guests are happy & satisfied is an easy way out of any financial obligation & we have learnt our lesson well with your event. People online today by & large are intelligent enough to understand a case of sour grapes & someone bad mouthing then is natural.May we request you to be more careful & articulate to get all clarifications sought in advance for any services that you may avail off anywhere going forward, humble request.Thank you once again for giving us an opportunity of being service to you & your guests, many of whom thanked us in person during & after the event.Thank you.For Team 10th Mile Banquet Venue's,Pawan K Sawhney(Director)
