I recently visited 10 Downing Street, Coimbatore and was told to share my personal contact number before entering. When I questioned this, the manager (Loganath) said it is as per Tamil Nadu Government rules. I understand following government guidelines, but as a customer, it feels uncomfortable and intrusive to be forced to share personal details just to step inside. The pub should clearly display this rule at the entrance so people know beforehand, instead of making it feel like an unnecessary pressure at the door.
