I had dinner at Paanch Phoron recently and, unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. We ordered the chicken kasha, which was clearly not freshly prepared—it tasted like it had been reheated and lacked any real depth of flavor. In the veg thali, the dal and kumro chokka stood out as good, but the rest of the items were disappointing and felt below average in taste and quality. The Gulab Jamun we were served had a slightly sour taste, suggesting it had gone off. That was quite off-putting. On a more positive note, the chicken kabiraji was well made and enjoyable—it was the highlight of the meal. However, the overall experience took a further hit when it was time to pay. I was told they don’t accept foreign credit cards. As someone visiting from the U.S., this was both surprising and embarrassing—especially since this information wasn’t mentioned beforehand. Thankfully, I had enough cash to cover the bill, but this is not something a traveler should have to worry about after a meal. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Paanch Phoron. While there were a couple of decent dishes, the food quality, lack of consistency, and poor customer experience at billing made this a forgettable visit. Very Bad service. They take order form me for lunch i was very hunger that day i waiting 20 min for lunch finally i leave without take lunch. They don't care me staff busy with gossip. very bad experience.
