I had lunch at Kamat Hotel, tried the veg thali, and all the curries had a nice, homely taste. The onion dosa was also good in taste. It’s a great spot in the area for a satisfying meal. Kamath Hotel, Nampally Visited Kamath Hotel at Nampally for the first time, and it was quite a nostalgic experience. The infrastructure is definitely old, but it still manages to function well and hold its charm. I tried a few items from the menu. The idli and sambar really stood out — soft idlis paired with flavorful sambar made it a delightful combo. The sambar is a must-try! The chutney was decent, nothing extraordinary but it complemented the idli well. Finally, I ordered a 1 by 2 chai, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the rest of the meal. The chai was disappointing — would give it only one star. Overall, it's a good spot for a quick South Indian bite, especially if you're craving idli and sambar. Just skip the chai! 4th April 2025 This restaurant is about 10 Minutes walk from nampally railway station, ambience is just ok & nothing great. We ordered Butter plain dosa, Pesarattu, Idly & Vada, taste wise it was ok nothing great to speak about. Food is served almost immediately after placing order. Butter Plain Dosa 7/10 Pesarattu 8/10 Idli 7/10 Vada 9/10 Filter Coffee 7/10 An average place for breakfast while at Nampally in hyderabad,prices are quite high compared to other breakfast spots, Chutneys Restaurant is quite good in my opinion. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
