This bakery took me back to my time in the Netherlands. I loved the charming ambiance and the prompt service. I ordered the brownie, strawberry slof, cheese chicken sausage roll, croissant, kombucha, and hibiscus iced tea. The strawberry slof was exceptional, striking a perfect balance between sweetness, creaminess, richness, and the tartness of strawberries. The buttery base was delightful, but I wish they had used almond paste for a touch of nuttiness. The aroma of the croissant alone hinted at its quality which was lightly sweet with rich buttery notes. The airy pastry was perfectly flaky and left me wanting more. I can only imagine how heavenly it must be fresh out of the oven. The brownie had a satisfying crusty top and a wonderfully dense, chewy texture with a slight bite. However, it leaned more on the sweet side and lacked the subtle bitterness of quality chocolate. I’d recommend savoring it in small bites to truly appreciate its richness. The kombucha was by far the best I’ve had in India. It nailed the fruity-tart balance with just the right amount of funk from the fermentation. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I highly recommend this place.
