Four of us went to a restaurant and had biryani, full grill, and honey chicken for lunch. By around 7 PM, we started experiencing stomach upset and dysentery. Three of us had the same issue, and the dysentery continued until the next morning. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Zeeshan Restaurant in Perungudi, Chennai, is a casual dining destination that has earned a modest 3-star rating for its mix of strengths and occasional shortcomings. The restaurant is best known for its Hyderabadi and Mughlai cuisine, featuring flavorful biryanis, aromatic kebabs, and an assortment of Chinese dishes, making it a go-to spot for patrons craving rich, hearty meals. The ambience is simple yet cozy, with comfortable seating that caters well to families and small groups, and the staff is generally polite and helpful, though service can be inconsistent during busy hours, with delays in order processing and food delivery sometimes noted by customers. While many visitors praise the authenticity and taste of signature dishes like the Hyderabadi biryani, there have been mixed experiences reported concerning food quality, with occasional instances of stale ingredients or undercooked items. Despite these inconsistencies, the pricing is reasonable, with an average cost for two around ₹900, offering decent value for those seeking a casual meal without breaking the budget. The restaurant also enjoys a steady local patronage, reflecting its popularity in the Perungudi area, particularly for its comforting, flavorful dishes. Overall, Zeeshan Restaurant provides a reliable option for those looking to enjoy Hyderabadi or Mughlai cuisine in a relaxed environment. While it may not excel in every aspect, its combination of taste, affordability, and casual dining appeal makes it a worthwhile choice for regular or first-time visitors seeking familiar, satisfying flavors in Chennai.
