I dined here at ITC Maratha, located right next to the airport. The restaurant is new and has replaced a previous outlet, and overall the experience was very good. The Chinese food was excellent. The Golden Fried Chicken was really well executed. Crisp, flavorful, and satisfying. The handmade noodles with tomato and egg were outstanding. Comforting, balanced, and clearly made fresh. The Sui Mai and potstickers were all on point. Consistent quality across dishes. A great highlight was that the chef, who is from Beijing and has over 20 years of experience with ITC, personally came out to say hello. That level of experience definitely showed in the food. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional. One small issue was the lighting at my table. The light directly above my seat was not working, so when I leaned forward, the shadow of my head fell over the plate, which made eating slightly uncomfortable. A simple fix, but worth noting. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. Strong food, experienced leadership in the kitchen, and classic ITC hospitality. Definitely worth visiting if you enjoy well executed Chinese cuisine. Little disappointed with the food here, was recommended their fish which was undercooked and had after smell. Noodles and rice was OK. Saw their chefs using bare hands treating food without wearing hand gloves, will not recommend and will never visit!
