We went on a Saturday night, which probably explains the waiting. There was only a buffet service with no a la carte option, which was odd for a premier restaurant. The buffet was also quite generic, with out of place dishes like hummus and labneh. The pizza was bland and soggy. Only saving grace was the pasta and the dessert. Disappointed.

Unfortunately, we got stuck on a night where there was no a la carte menu, only a buffet. The music was extremely loud, not at all the experience one looks for in 5-star dining. Everything took really long, possibly because it was a busy night- so that by the time we got our drinks, we were almost done with desserts. The buffet is not worth the money spent on it. The food isn't bad per se, it just isn't good enough to justify the high cost of the buffet. By comparison the food quality and cost of The Pavillion are much better. Having dined before at Bukhara and Pavillion, we assumed the food and service at Ottimo would be comparable, but it really wasn't. One of the lowest points of our stay at the ITC.

Recently, reserved a table at Ottimo at west view. The hotel is located centrally on the main road with a heavy load of army and police. Upon reaching the hotel, with a RESERVED TABLE. The people at security mention that there is no parking available for restaurant reservation and asked to find parking elsewhere/main road. Is this even sensible or possible? To park just like that on the main road and get fined? Left the “so called no parking place” and went to Taj instead. If you can’t offer a parking space just because of “A RESTAURANT RESERVATION” Don’t take reservations and keep the online platforms OFF. It can lead to disappointment and ruin someone’s birthday plans! Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
