I had a fairly positive impression of Watson's Kochi during its early days, appreciating the stylish and spacious interiors, the lively crowd, and the attentive service. Some dishes like the beef steak, onion rings, and cold coffee stood out, and the pool table added a nice touch for groups. Unfortunately, my recent visits have been very disappointing. The quality has significantly declined. Service has become careless, and food portion sizes are noticeably smaller. On both occasions, the beer glasses were served with lipstick stains—clearly unwashed and unhygienic. The common pool table, once a fun addition, now feels like it’s monopolized by regulars who act like they own it. You’d have to practically beg for a turn. The DJ performances have been underwhelming, with poorly curated playlists that kill the vibe. What’s worse is the behavior of some bartenders near closing time—they’ve tried to shortchange or mislead us, possibly assuming everyone is too drunk to notice. Overall, Watson’s has lost the charm it once had. It's no longer a place I’d recommend unless they seriously work on improving their hygiene, service, and atmosphere.
