Respected Sir, Thank you for bringing the incident to our attention. Kindly allow us to provide an explanation. As you were probably aware of how crowded it was when you visited the restaurant, the waiter; serving multiple rows of tables & already having a lot to process in his mind,made a basic computational error. In no way are we defending the actions of the waiter & he could have done a better job of addressing your queries in a polite manner. Then again, we aren’t interested in unethical practices. Just because you’ve had one bad experience with your visit doesn’t automatically mean that we do the same to other customers as well. It’s a one off incident & the waiter, being a human, made a basic error. As for the lady at the counter, she was the one who reprimanded the waiter for his actions at the end of his shift. Not providing an expression at that point ( "dead reaction") doesn’t mean we don’t care. It just means we don’t want to escalate the matter & would rather handle it professionally later onwards. We wouldn’t intentionally do anything that would tarnish our legacy & reputation of 65+ years. We are deeply apologetic about the said incident & hope you understand the situation due to which the error occurred. Thank you & have a nice day
