Vidhatri Bhavan is an aesthetically designed restaurant in Shimoga, giving one all the old-school vibes with their rustic interiors. They have 2 floors, ground which is non-AC and a first floor which has air-conditioning. Service is quick however I noticed that they are too eager to push food into your plate and be done with it. The food is almost like any other you get in a darshini and nothing very spectacular. We got the below; 1. Babycorn Manchurain- Nothing spectacular, very standard. 2. Mushroom Masala- Was a unique dish, I guess they had added coconut milk, tasted good. 3. Dal Tadka- Standard restaurant quality. 4. Butter-Naan- Unsure how old the dough was, but it was sour, indication that it had sat for a while. Surprisingly they do not accept Credit cards- it is UPI/Cash. Can visit once!
